The following outlines the functionality of the sequence ordering form:
The User Interface
A. Sequence type selection
Oligos may be either standard (uppercase) or s-oligos (lowercase).
B. Show sequence calculations
Provides the user with calculations for length, molecular weight,
melting point, percent GC, secondary structure, and primer dimer.
C. Show "Additional Instructions" field
Provides the user with a field for specifying any additional requests
for the sequence
D. Delete all items and start over
Removes all sequences from the order form.
E. Manual sequence input fields
Name: The name you assign to your sequence (30 characters max)
Sequence: Your item sequence. The sequence must be entered
5' to 3' for oligos (110 characters max), and N to C for peptides
Synthesis Scale: Your item synthesis scale. Please indicate the scale
by using the pull-down menu and selecting the appropriate choice.
Purification Method: Your item purification method. Please indicate
by using the pull-down menu and selecting the appropriate choice.
F. Multiple sequence-parsing field
If you have an order of 250 sequences or less you can use this area to
enter multiple sequences by pasting from a spreadsheet. Each sequence request
should be a single row of the spreadsheet, with the cells of the row in the following order:
Name, Sequence, Scale, Purification, Instructions
G. Number of new sequence input fields
Indicate the number of additional sequence input fields
by using the pull-down menu and selecting the appropriate choice.
H. Order update button
Validates and formats your sequences
